The name L Bar V Reigns Rescue is rooted in two powerful influences that define who we are and why we exist.
L Bar V is our brand, representing the word LOVE. At its core, this rescue was founded on the belief that healing begins with love expressed through stewardship, compassion, responsibility, and relationship. It is the foundation upon which every decision is made, from the care of the horses to the preservation of the land entrusted to us.
Reigns honors Reigna, a remarkable horse whose life helped reveal a larger vision for what rescue could become. Through her, we learned lessons of patience, trust, healing, and stewardship. Reigna inspired us to see horses not as assets, projects, or outcomes to be managed, but as sentient beings deserving of dignity, respect, and a life in accordance with their nature.
Together, the name carries a simple yet profound message: Love Reigns.

To provide rescued horses a safe, non-judgmental sanctuary where they are honored as sentient beings, healed through relationship and consistency, and supported in returning to their natural state, free from expectation, utility, or performance.
